So I have Yoga 910 13-IKB and when I check the requirements for the Windows 11 I have met all of them but the PC Health Check Says the otherwise. If you want proof that I have all the requirements I will send it to anyone that ask.

windows 11 is not yet available, if u downloaded windows11 from other source than microsoft, then that win11 version can be installed only in virtual machine

as far as compatibility with your system goes, it is indeed incompatible, minimum requirements clearly states TPM module v 2.0, your yoga 910 doesnt have any security chip, thus it doesnt meet minimum requirements

the lists of compatible CPU is a moving target, they are adding new chips to it as they are found to work.

Its not complete yet

checking with lenovo would also make sense, expect they will release lists of laptops that can upgrade once we closer to release

motherboard makers also have to do some work as not all bios have the feature in a state you can enable it. All new bios need to have it enabled by default as well or I can see problems in the future due to bios resets/upgrades.

Yeah, I just realize it that Intel’s Gen 7 CPUs are not supported eventhough some of them have TPM 2.0, I’m just confused because in the CPU requirement page on windows 11 there is Intel CPUs from way back then like Intel Celeron but the Intel Gen 7 CPUs are not supported. I guess I will just wait until the Windows 11 is released to see do any of the requirements change because right now they only “semi-firm” on their CPU requirements. I was confused because my Intel CPU is Intel I7-7500U which has TPM 2.0 in it, but not supported by Windows 11 and it caused the PC Health Check to resulted in “Your PC can’t upgrade to Windows 11”

Yeah right now I’m trying to download the Windows 11 on a virtual machine to check the compatibility

I hope they will include some TPM 2.0 compatible gen 7 Intel’s CPUs in the future

They may relax the CPU requirement, as long as TPM 2.0 is present, if not enough people adopt it early on. It would be untenable for them to lock out too many people now with the hardware situation being what it is. Nobody is going to spend thousands of dollars on a new PC just to run Windows 11. They'll stick with Windows 10 for free, instead, which is bad for Microsoft.
