I have an i7 4790k ( 1150 ) but will this cooler work?

if in the specifications it doesn't say "1150" compatible. only

Yeah looks like there is enough clearance for the fan, if not you can always move it to the second pci slot

ok cool but lastly
i have an enermax t40 blacktwister
and the fan is pretty close to the RAM etc so im scared with this one heatsink and fan

If you'll put the fan there, you might need to adjust its position.

I guess that you'll be able to mount it same position with the GSkill RAMs. They will fit (check the link in the previous post)

oh right ok so you think my ram will be ok being fitted the original way or the way you did it if the worst comes to the worst and can i install it including the back plate without removing the motherboard from the case

What do you mean by the original way?
For installing the cooler, if enough room for installing the backplate, then you don't have to remove the board from case.
Depending on the CPU_fan header position, it might be also good to connect the fans wires before mounting the heatsink.

Not sure if blowing towards RAM is the original way.
Air flowing from front to back
-> CPU fan -> heatsink -> CPU fan -> heatsink -> back case fan
has the advantage of not warming the RAMs and getting evacuated by the back case fan.

hm idk i may be ona bout something else
i mean, most videos on youtube i see the back of the case > heatsink > fan then the RAM.
So the RAM is infront of the fan.
