Trying to run Call of Duty BO6 on my ASUS TUF F15 and I'm running into this issue.
Specs are,
I7 11370H
RTX 3070 8G
24Gb 3200 ram
240hz screen
latest drivers and windows updates.
Devise has a fresh version of windows aswell so no malware or anything.
Also, i googled this issue and they recommended two things, one was go into setting on windows and under graphics, pick your application and set it to high performance which should then use the GPU instead of the CPU, the other thing was to go into Nividia control center and under global settings, set a performance setting the high performance aswell. both of these things i did but they have not seen a better result.
Also fans seem to work fine too.
I did a Cinebench test on my GPU and scored a 8184 which i think is pretty good.
So i am trying to figure out, is this normal for laptops? Is this game that much of a power Hog? is there a setting that i just haven't enabled?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
