Question I have an old AOC 2590G5 with 75 hz Freesync. It blacks out when connected on DP, every time I start a game if Freesync is ON. Works fine with HDMI.

I have an IGPU on my CPU and I was using that for extra monitors and TV. Wanted to upgrade to a 5700x3d that doesn't have an IGPU and have realized that when connecting my main monitor with DP, it just blacks out every 10 seconds when playing a game. It only does this if Freesync is enabled. If I change the resolution and change it back, it works fine, if I change from 8bpc to 6 and back again it works fine. Basically anything that has to "reboot" the display, where it "clicks" sort of resets it and then it works fine with Freesync on. But it has to reset itself somehow.
My main GPU is an RX 6600. The cpu is a 5600g. Tried disabling it's igpu in the bios, it makes no difference, so it isn't that. Might try a different Windows install see if that works, but I doubt it.
Any ideas?

I don't think the monitor has a reset to factory option. I'll look more into this, but I don't think there is one.
I used a different DP cable.
I updated AMD drivers. Still happens.
