I have an old PSU, but i cant seem to find any decent information

The label on the PSU is quite bad, since the psu is over 5 years old. Its an FSP 750watt APG
I have bought a new graphics card MSI R9 280, and i wanted to know if everything is ok to keep using this PSU or that i should buy a modern PSU, Such as CS650M ones

decent psu - if its in good condition & not been hammered/pushed to the max constantly you should have no problems

Its ok to use with an R9 280?
Are the amps ok on such an old PSU for a newer videocard? such as the R9 280

Agreed. If your current PSU hasn't been overly abused (just normal wear and tear), it's probably still just fine for your needs. FSP is one of the more reliable power supply manufacturers.

It has 4 rails 18a on each & as far as I'm aware 2 x 6 pin & 2 x 6+2 pin.
Its not going to struggle with a 280 in the slightest.
