Question I have an open port but it appears as if it was closed ?

I have contacted my internet company and they confirmed that the port that I have asked them to open is 100% open, but in my pc it still appears as Closed. They have told me that it's probably something that my pc is blocking the open port, i don't know what to do?

Have you verified that you have a public IP address? https://whatsmyip.com/ must match the WAN IP address your router lists.
Provide the make and model of your router and post screen shots of the router port forwarding configuration to imgur and link them here (that is the best way).

I don't know how to see my "WAN IP address"
the model of my router is ZXHN H298Q
I can't give you a screenshot of the port forwarding because it was made by my internet company (which is Virgin Telco)

If you don't have access to the router configuration pages, then we can't help you very much.

You need to spend time looking at and understanding each of the configuration pages in your router. You are trying to do a moderately advanced feature, but don't understand where the controls for that feature are.
Start by reading the user's manual.

It may not be exact, but does your router have a Status page? On other threads -- https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/cannot-open-ports.3777981/ the user was able to find the WAN (may be called external) IP address.

Your WAN status is most likely somewhere under the "Internet" tab.

That doesn't help. It doesn't show you what the router thinks the IP address of the WAN port is. The only other obvious place would be "Management and Diagnostics".

Then I can't say for sure that you have a public IP address. Your router is not providing that information. Without a public IP, you can't port forward.
Have you specifically asked your ISP if you have a public IP address ?

Based on the info provided, I can't concur.

What purpose are you trying to open ports ? There might be something under the "Internet-> Security" options.

Your ISP seems to have limited the functionality of that router so much, if you really want ports open you may have to change routers.

Are you trying to run a game client or a game server ?
