[SOLVED] i have an sd card in old phone but it cant be read in new phone without format is there a work around?

was wondering how i could use my sd card in my new phone? is there a way to copy it over wifi/lan what app do i need

Ugh, this is so FRUSTRATING. I had a recent problem with this myself on a phone that got broken and nothing could be done FROM it. I was lucky enough that it DID work as a USB, so my suggestion is to put the card in the old phone, hook to a computer and see if you can transfer what you want to keep across. Another option would be to back it up to a cloud service like Google, Dropbox, etc. such that you can go to the cloud and redownload.

rgd, can i put the sd card in the old phone then decrypt it? cause i think it might be. charge port broke so cant use it but have a full battery.

in this case, since you can't hook to it, try Bluetooth transfer, or email/cloud service it out from the old phone.
