I have asrock x370 am4....can I use 4 pin only

my mobo run ryzen 5 1600X
and I use no gpu.....
can I use 4pin power connector only,my mobo use 8pins btw
my PSU avf 650w
will my mobo be save and not fried?

I would not use that power supply in anything. Very bad pile of crap buy you a decent power supply with the right connectors.
