Question I have been getting a lot of freezing lately.

I have been trying to figure out why but i can't seem to find anything.
When i get to my desktop, my system would freeze after a few minutes, or it would freeze during gameplay. I started having the issues after a couple of weeks after buying a RTX 2070. I don't know if its my CPU or GPU, i have had this PC for almost 2 years.

it is problem with some old driver or softwares...
it is tricky to fix this problem..
but simples way is fresh install your OS and other drivers and softwares...

CPU Intel i7 8700

GPU ASUS RTX 2070 DUAL OC (I dont have 2 GPUs, thats just the name of it)

MOBO ASUS PRIME H310 Plus

PSU EVGA Supernova G3 750W

RAM - XPG ADATA 16GB (2400MHz)

When you say freeze, does it ever unfreeze? Does it turn off? Do you get a blue screen? Did you uninstall the old GPU drivers?

If you've had the PC a few years and haven't done a fresh install of Windows lately, it's not a bad idea to do when you're having problems; I'm a fan of trying to rule out a software issue first.

I don't get a blue screen and it freezes and it never unfreezes. I have to restart my computer.

And yes i uninstalled the old GPU drivers from my old 1060, and installed the new ones.

No i haven't but before i even bought the 2070 my CPU fan broke for a while so i had to open the case as that was my only choice because i broke a fan blade. So the CPU would hit temperatures of 80-90C. I bought a new fan not too long ago.

On top of that the GPU is a pain in the ass to install
