My first computer was a BBC B 32K version, and I have loved technology ever since, building computers for my sons when DOS 6 was available, I also had a computer earlier that was an Amstrad 1640 LOVELY computer running GEM, from then on 386s, when the first 486's came out I started to build my sons computers, and my son has recently built mine last week LOL

I have two other hobbies.

Photography, since I was 12 in 1969 and Astronomy, Patrick Moore BBC Sky at Night was a personal friend

I think there are a lot of folk on here, who've been doing the same.

Back then, I had BBC Micro, ZX Spectrum, Atari 800XL, Atari ST, AMD K6, Pentiums, Intel Core, but to name a few.

That's cool that you've made it a father and son thing :), and that he built your most recent one! Nice.

My son and I are both neurodivergent (autistic) and MOST autistic people are 100% GREAT except the law breakers who use it as an excuse which does no real autistic people any favours, like crap cyclists who give all good ones a reputation

I am a single father (since they were 7,6 and 4, now youngest is 30, of three autistic ADHD sons

ADHD, Autism, on the spectrum are conditions that need advocating for. Keep up the good work 🙂 thank you for sharing that with us. As a community carer, these conditions are relevent to me, so that I can properly understand (well, as best I can) what I personally can do for clients in your situation.

When the NHS STPPED (Carmarthen NHS) ALL help and groups in South Wales three years ago I started this,

CANDO Carmarthen Autism Group

We have NO funding, it is 100% paid for from my NHS ( £420 a month pension)

We hope one day to be able to afford some laptops for the group

my first computer was a rotary dial phone which I broke and burned.

Second computer 1992 apple macintosh which I deleted shut down system for and was able to turn on with TV remote for no known reason.

Had a lot of friends with mac stuff.

Just a photo here, thanks for everyone on the forum who helped.
I have an old ish case, Cooler Master Trooper SE, no clear plastic sides
Do those side fans have any purpose?
There's a closed drive cage panel behind them. Isn't it?
With side panel installed those fans would be sandwiched between two panels.
No chance in moving any air.

And rear fan seems to be in wrong orientation.
