Hello, I have one 6 pin pci-e and my power color 7970 wont support just one pci-e 6 pin it needs an 8 pin as well... Anyone tell me what I need please???
NO NO NO NO If you only have one 6 pin on your power supply your power supply is not going to power that video card it's either to low of watts or a pile of dong post a link to the power supply.

That would depend on the rest of the parts you have in the PC are you sure that video card will even fit inside your case?

I would recommend the one I listed first but for low priced I guess this would do and I still think your going to have heat issues.
Will it work with my graphics card (power color 7970)?

This is simply not necessarily true. I had an older 500W PSU (Coolermaster I think it was), and it only had a single 6 pin for a GPU (they weren't nearly as power hungry as they are now) and a single 4-pin for the CPU. But it had loads of 4-pin molex connectors coming off a separate 25A 12V rail, and I ran very powerful GPUs and CPUs off it for many years without any issues. Why do you think they make those adapters if no one can use them!!???
