I have recently bought a 32 in TV to use as my PC monitor

every time i shut down my pc & turn it back on the tv says no signal , so i have to go & hook up a 2nd monitor & fiddle around with the resolution till i get it back on . any ideas about what if anything i maybe doing wrong ? the tv is a Panasonic viesa & I'm using the VGA port running it from a R9 280 3gb graphics card

VGA is an analog signal, so you should change to a HDMI to get the best image quality. That may help with your problem too.

Just don't go out and buy a monster cable or similar for $60. The ones from monoprice and amazon work just as well for a fraction of the price. As always with digital you either get a signal cause the cable is good, or you don't and the cable is faulty.

the problem I'm having with HDMI is that I can't find the correct cable , I have contacted the manufacturer to find the size & they said it is the same size as what would fit a PS3 or standard size. Yet i have tried one & it won't fit ,it's like the outer dementions are the same size
