[SOLVED] I have ryzen 3 3200g, i want to install ryzen 5 1 or 2th generation. Does i need bios update?

Hello people, i want to ask a question, does i need to update my bios after installing older generation cpu, so i have ryzen 3 3200g, i want to install ryzen 5 1600 or 2600 or ryzen 7 1700 idk. (one of theese) so my question is.. does i need to update my bios?
My motherboard is Asrock a320m hdv r4.0

Most likely your current BIOS will work with the older CPU. But be sure to reset CMOS whenever you change it. Also remember that the CPU's you want to change to do not have a GPU included with them so you'll need a discrete GPU to get a display.
