I get eye strain from my pc monitor led asus it only started when i tilted my monitor to straight i had it tilted no problem but the quality of image did not look great but having it slightly tilted backwards stops the eye strain hope this helps but i know your losing image quality and it also makes the colours stronger but what can you do when your tv does not want to run it properly

Try messing around with your brightness/gamma/saturation/contrast. It should help, on your monitor press the menu button and then find the optimal setting for yourself.
