Hi. So I finally decided to upgrade my PC and i have some questions. My current build contain the following components:
Motherboard - Gigabyte EP35 DS3L
CPU - Core 2 Duo E6600
GPU - Nvidia GT 630 1GB
RAM - 4GB DDR2

And I want to upgrade to this:
CPU - Core 2 Quad Q9550 / Core I5 650
GPU - Nvidia GTX 750 ti OC
RAM - 8GB DDR2

And my questions are:
1. Will those components be compatible with my motherboard ?
2. Will it be a problem if the memory is only DDR2 ?
3. What should i choose between Q9550 and I5 650 (for gaming) ?
4 Will a 450 watts source be enough for this build ?

I hope I've been clear, thank you !

Solution
1.yes it would be compatible 2.DDr2 should not have any issues unless the ram is dieing 3. Ok you can't use the I5 650 it not a lga 775 cpu q9550 is good but you can get better performance it you over clock it 4. the power supply i would upgrade maybe to 500 if you are not gonna over clock then it ok to use

It should be good just make sure it doesn't get super hot, if it a copper core most core 2/quad came with copper core then it better i'm still using stock intel cooler that aluminum and it sits around 60/70.c overclocked just make sure you put new thermal paste and good luck with your build!!
