I have to keep reseting my router

This has been going on for almost a month now and I think my brother and I have found the cause. It seems to be that our desktop computers shut off our internet. My bro had to turn his download speen down to 3mb/s but that barely worked. At first it was juts his computer now as soon as I plug my Ethernet cable into the router, the internet will shut off 90% of the time. This is starting to get really annoying and I'm sure my dad will get to the point where he's gonna through our PC's out the window lol. I tried to make this as short as I could. Thanks

I read somewhere about some guy having the same problem and someone replied saying it could be the motherboard of the PC.

Needs more information. What kind of router do you have? Wifi adapters? Version of Windows you are running? System specs? Any error messages you are getting?

D-link dir 6-15, IDK, Windows 10, Me: i7 2600k and p8 z68v-pro, Brother: amd phenom ii x6 and gigabyte 970a-d3p, and I haven't noticed any error messages

I am able to just do regular google related things but as soon as I try to download something it would stop the internet
