What is a thread? I have a windows 7 desktop computer with two hard drives. How can I tell which one is being used? They both have a windows 7 operating system on them. When I look at the desk top or go into control panel I can't tell which one is operating without rebooting and selecting the start up drive.

Solution
The C Drive is ALWAYS the drive you are running.

I would go in. Boot off one. Open computer and rename the C drive to like Windows 7 drive 1 or something. Then reboot, select the other. That other drive you just named should be another drive letter BUT C. No rename that C drive for that windows 7 drive.

Now you will know which drive is for which windows.
