I have windows 7 can i put it on my new computer

i have windows 7 from my old computer can i put it on my new computer if so how. my new computer as vita

How old is your computer, because Windows 7 is a new OS and if you already had Windows 7 running on your old computer my guess is the copy of Windows 7 is a beta copy. If that's the case, just by a new copy of Windows 7

It depends on your license, upgrade/retail full version allow for transfers. Oem Windows license does not but you can always bust out with the pretext of a new motherboard/cpu cuz your old one fried, usually works.

i only got the family pack of windows 7 home premium about 6 weeks ago and my last computer as fried that is why i have a new computer and it as vister on it but i like windows 7 and i would like to put it on my new computer. i did phone microsoft but that did not help me at all . thank you for any help . alan

The new computer with "vister" on it should just be an upgrade with Win7. Put the Win7 DVD in the drive and run Setup... I'm not sure what phoning Micro Soft is all about, if you don't know how to do an operating system install, then take your machine to the local computer store and pay them to do the job correctly...
