Question I installed new ram but nothing will display.

My pc still turns on but nothing displays. The keyboard and headset turn on, but the mouse doesn’t turn on. I switched back to the old ram but it still wouldn’t display.

Seems like ram isn't being seated properly. Make sure dimm slot latches securely locked into both sides of the memory stick.

You powered off before working on it didn't you?

What's your system specs?

I’m pretty sure I seated the ram properly but I can try again. I did power the pc off when working on it. I have an aorus asus b450 f motherboard, ryzen 5 3600, rx 590, thermal take smart 700watt 80+ power supply and the old ram was an oloy ddr4 8gb2 3000 mhz. The new ram I was installing was a Corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 8gb2 3600 mhz.
