i installed win7 64 bit, it installed an old graphis driver. when i install the latest one pc freezes. system restore reinstalls the old driver again ?

Start in safe mode. Erase the old driver. Run driver sweeper, install new driver, restart.

ran driver sweeper. latest nvidia driver for win 7 64 bit. in safe mode device manager shows correct card and new driver. strange ?

sorry correction when i ran driver sweeper would only boot in vga and device manager did not even see card. had to reinstall win7. dont want to do that again. last time did "nvidia clean install" froze and then system restore back to old driver.
