Question I just bought a new laptop which has 512gb PCI-E ssd and a empty 2.5inch slot, Can i install my old laptops HDD into this

My old laptop has windows installed in the HDD ,
New one has windows installed on SSD , will it cause any issues when i load my old laptops HDD into new one .
I am really hoping there would be a way to install it as i dont want to loose the data ..

Probably, but don't try to boot from the old drive.
And any applications on it won't work.
