I just bought a new power supply and graphics card for my hp 500-c60

The people I bought it from said it would be a very easy install but they obviously can't grasp that I don't exactly do this every day, especially with this pc.
The power supply it currently has is coming directly from the motherboard and I'm trying to figure out exactly where to put the power supply and graphics card. They showed me where to put the PS but then I don't know where I'd stick the card.
I just want to know if it would affect the current PS in the motherboard if I install a separate PS in its place.
I can give more details if they're needed, I'm just not sure what info is needed atm.

I hate to break this to you, but you wasted your money on PSU and GPU, for that system. Your system uses an external power supply, and does not have a slot for graphics card. Essentially your system is a desktop built with laptop components.

So what you're saying is that there's no way I can add a new power supply to bypass the old one?

No you cannot. Your motherboard doesn't have any connections, for an internal PSU, just like a laptop motherboard.
