Hi I just finished my build and after multiple hiccups I can't seem to get any display? It worked last time I booted it and came up into bios straight away, I got halfway through installing windows and it couldnt detect any storage and my fans weren't spinning but the rgb in the fans were working so I decided to take a break and try to fix it in the morning. I tried to attach some of the wires (and do a few other things i forgot) The fans work now but not the rgb? And now all I'm getting is a black screen?? It (inconsistently) will power usb tbh I'm so lost right now I don't know much about pcs aaaa

Generally speaking, a Windows install won't actually start unless it sees a destination drive.

When you say you had no fans spinning, was that to include the CPU cooler?

If you plugged the wrong wires into the wrong place there are various types of damage that could have been done. Always a good idea to look your hardware over, look for videos about it alongside reading the guides through. I would recommend triple checking that you have all the proper cabling and wires connected where they are supposed to be. If you cannot get it to start then take the system down to the most basic hardware configuration that could POST and then start adding things back.

The CPU cooler was working; (I missed a SATA cable for my case fans. they're all spinning now and it starts, graphics are working. When I put the wires back in the second time I didn't connect my hdmi cord to my graphics card, It was attached to my motherboard, oops) All good now except I'm still missing my SSD storage when I try to set up my windows?

Do you have anything aside from the (one) SSD/NVMe in the PC?
Some motherboard will disable 'slots' if you have two drives hooked to specific spots. Check your manual for that aspect.

Does the drive show up in BIOS?

No, just that one SSD. The drive would be under "storage" right? I don't see it all ports are labelled "Not Present"
