Question I just bought a new Ryzen 5 5600X and it won't post!

Okay, so I have a Asus Prime X470 pro and it's updated to the latest bios 6042 which should be capable of 5th gen ryzens.
Components:
Asus Prime X470 pro
Asus RTX 3060ti
Ryzen 5 5600X
Corsair 650W power supply

So I updates the bios of the motherboard using my old cpu a Ryzen 5 2600 and that went okay. But the PC wont boot or post when I put in the new Ryzen 5 5600X. The motherboard itself still works perfectly as I am able to run the whole pc by putting the Ryzen 5 2600 chip back in but otherwise I've tried everything to get the 5600X working such as cmos reset and stuff like that.

When you install the new CPU reset the Cmos before you try to boot. See what happens.

Not common at all but could be DOA, Bios is right 5809 is when they started supporting 5600x. Any chance you can try this 5600x on a different motherboard?
