i just built a pc and its not posting

Hey I built my computer

This goddamn thing is so stupid. I turn it on via the front panel power button and it turns on.. and off... on... and off.... it does this repeatedly with no video to the monitor. Ive tried taking out ram and putting new ones in so its not the ram. Has any one had this problem before?

Yea I had this problem with my X58 Build, it turned out to be my PSU railings not providing enough volts

Also can you list the specs of your build?

Hey dude! Thanks for the quick reply heres my specs\

i5-4440
gtx 970 msi afterburner (the fat one that has one fan)
2 4gb g skill memory sticks
a gigabyte Z97-HD3 ultra durable motherboard
an EVGA 600B psu
windows 8.1 which is not currently in the disc drive
the optical drive is not connected and so isn't the gpu im using the onboard video
the case is a nzxt 210 source window

and the monitors working played some madden on it before the other parts came in

oh and I have a terabyte of Seagate hdd in

p.s. tell me if this isn't enough info

talk to me man im on edge this thing was a thousand bucks... I had a problem last time with this same build and it thought it was the motherboard... but that pc wouldn't flicker on and off like right now it would just go on and off then I would have to reset the psu. so I replaced the motherboard after the company pronounced it doa.

talk to me man im on edge this thing was a thousand bucks... I had a problem last time with this same build and it thought it was the motherboard... but that pc wouldn't flicker on and off like right now it would just go on and off then I would have to reset the psu. so I replaced the motherboard after the company pronounced it doa.

It most likely will be the PSU, its most weakest of your components. It just not throwing out enough juice to power up the rig, if you have a spare PSU try that out

it wasnt the psu i tried a spare on it and i made sure my new psu worked by testing it on another pc and it did.

No this is my first build... also this is the second motherboard i bought! The last mobo i had was an msi and i rmaed it and they declared it doa!

What do you mean you ruined something storing the parts? I'm waiting for my gpu and my other parts are sitting in the corner of my room.
