I just wanted to know if i should upgrade my ram or not for gaming

Hey so my pc spec is: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 DirectX 12 GTX 1070 ARMOR 8G OC 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 and my cpu is i5-6400 with a 8gb ddr4 gb ram.
So when i play Games such as gtv5 and other games it keeps freezing after 1 minute or 5 minute so i was looking at my task manager and before i load up any game my pc is already using 60% of the ram and leaving my pc with 2gb of ram left so i was wondering if the problem was that my ram isnt enough and thats why it keeps freezing please let me know if i should upgrade to 16gb or not.

Whats do you mean by freezeing? What is fps? Is it a periodic freezing of image for less than a second?

8gb of ram shouldn't be a problem to that extent. Make sure all components are stable and cool. Are any of your components overclocked? Have you tried updating your bios, updating drivers, and updating win10?

Using 2 different video cards may the problem. When SLI was the new thing video cards were bought in pairs in the same lot number. If you didn't buy 2 when you started, you were going to if you wanted a stable machine. Even if you bought the identical card from same manufacturer at a later date, it caused crashes.

I updated the all drivers my bios but still having the problem and it is freezing an image for less than a second or sometimes more and its only one gpu inside
I updated my pre-build gaming pc a new power supply and just gpu the power supply was PowerSpec 650 Watt 80 Plus Gold ATX Semi-Modular Power Supply

P.S. Why does my cpu make a buzzing sound for some reason it never did that before after i made this changing started happening.

Like the cpu make a small Electricity Sound When u get near it
