I lost my touch screen on Dell Inspiron 15 i3 3521

I bought a new Dell Inspiron 15 touch screen. Touch screen worked when I bought it. But today the touch screen no longer works, pen and touch nowhere to be found, properties says my laptop is does not support touch screen.

I'm happy to report that the touch screen on my Dell Inspiron 15 is back and functioning. I don't know how it happened. All I did was run a diagnostic through Dell Support Center. Thanks.

Maybe the drivers were uninstalled or something?

It happened after an update by Microsoft. Maybe a driver was affected by it. I'm not sure if the diagnostic had something to do with the return of touch screen function. However, after an hour or so the touch screen was again disabled and to my surprise when I switched on my laptop this morning it was back to normal. I wonder what's causing this. Also, the webcam cannot be detected by Skype last night, but just like the touch screen it is working this morning.
