Nope. There was only one "real" test done to check WD vs. Seagate and it was found to be flawed in basically every way and discredited. I use Seagate drives in all my machines with no problems.

Funny enough, the only drive I have ever had fail was a WD.

the build i suggested will give you the best performance BUT as tiny voices pointed out, it is also a waste of lots of money. I'll build you something more reasonable. Give me a bit.
