Question I need a little help to upgrade my potato PC ?

Hi, i have a Samsung Magic Station from 2009, it has a Core 2 Duo CPU and I want to upgrade it to an i5.
Will an i5 be compatible with my PC?

I want the best performing i5 that's compatible with my motherboard.

Simply said no i5 in any shape or form. Everything is different even with first gen i5. Best you can do is Core2 Quad.
