Hello. I am looking for a new motherboard. I am getting an i5 4670k so it needs to have an 1150 socket. I have 4x4GB of DDR3 memory already so it would need 4 slots of DDR3. I also have two graphics cards, a GTX 1050 (2GB) and a GTX 1060 (6GB). The 1050 does not need a power cable but the 1060 takes a 6 pin power connector from the motherboard. I am not very experienced in buying and replacing PC parts so if there is any more information needed for me to find a suitable motherboard please let me know.

I have one for each of my monitors. I do need them both because the 1060 only has one optical output. I’m located in the UK.

? GTX 1060 has 0 optical outputs, it has HDMI, Display port, and DVI connectors. I am assuming maybe you use DVI? If so there are adapters to turn HDMI or Display port to DVI.

Anyway your pickings for a new board are slim:

Nothing reasonably priced can take more than 1 GPU.

Are you willing to consider used? That will open your options up greatly.

Sorry I mean it has one HDMI. It is an EVGA GTX 1060 SC. I will consider used. My friend is giving me his used i5 4670k so I need it to have the 1150 socket. I dont mind what the price is as long as its not more expensive than just buying a different CPU and a different Motherboard. It also really needs to take more than 1 GPU as I can't live without my second monitor.

If it has one HDMI only you should consider buying an adapter, they make ones that go from DP to HDMI, and also DVI to HDMI. A lot easier than using a second GPU. You could sell the 1050 to have a bit more to put towards the system.

here are a couple reasonable deals on Z97 boards

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/msi-z97-...945424?hash=item3656f22b90:g:XxYAAOSwYaZdhJ9e

Or if you want cheap and not as good but still functional

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MSI-Z97M...391859?hash=item2f38ae0633:g:V-EAAOSwERFdv4hZ

Now that said, it really depends on your budget as to whats worth it. For example NEW you could do this

Motherboard: ASRock B450M-HDV Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (£52.99 @ CCL Computers)

Sell the CPU and ram you have and the 1050 GPU and get this. You'll have a new upgradeable platform, and it will be faster.

No problem, please reply here if you have additional questions.

Hello again, I'm back. I have decided to go with the Motherboard, Processor and RAM from PCPartPicker. My question is do I need to buy a new power supply? My current power supply has VS350 printed on the side which I assume is the power output. Is this enough? I've also found a way around the two GPU problem and will be getting rid of the 1050 when I can.

I would highly reccomend replacing it.

The Corsair VS series is not known for quality. So at this point its old and its about 100w less than you'd really want for that system. The Corsair CX450 is a new platform but value priced PSU that should do the job for you.
