My gateway dx 4375 went in to the repair loop i can't get anywhere with it. It said i should have backed it up but before my son could it crashed & started the loop. I bought a new windows 8 disk, but it says i still need the system recover disk. What should i do. Kim

You need to set in bios to boot from cd-rom and that will get you to windows installation screen and you can install windows 8 although that will erase everything you had on your computer before. If you need your old things from your computer i would suggest go to a computer shop as there are steps involved to recover your files.
