I'm building a new PC and the specs consist of a Ryzen 7 2700X and an OC ASUS RTX2070, all I need is a new monitor under the cost of $500 and I needed some advice. I want something with smooth performance maybe a 240HZ and a 1440P, I also heard G-sync is a must have, id like to know what that is and if it really makes a difference. I have no clue what's good or what deals are out there and Id really appreciate any advice.

Freesync works with Nvidia GPU's now.

If it were me I'd get this for a sub $500 monitor as my games support 21:9, VA for good colors and 100hz is a good all around refresh rate.

Or for faster paced games (Competitive FPS/Racing) I'd probably go with this.

Gsync/Freesync matches the FPS from the system with the monitor so it helps with screen tearing, nice feature to have.
