i need help badly. my shift key doesnt work

iam using a razer blackwidow keyboard for like 3 months and i didnt spill anything on it or drop any kind of liquid but for some reason my shift key isnt working anymore. i have tried holding both shift keys for minutes and etc. halp

Make sure one of the shift keys are not jammed.
The keyboard may have just died.
Install another keyboard and see if the problems goes away.
Make sure you do not have Windows Sticky Keys enabled.
If your keyboard came with some software try uninstalling it.
If that did not work reinstall it. (With reboots in between)

um i did uninstall it an hour ago but it didnt work. i disabled the sticky keys, and it didnt come with a software. i dont even know what to do now

Contact razer and get it replaced.

Did you try another keyboard? It sounds like it is broke.
Contact the manufacturer and tell them.
If it's under warranty you should be able to get another one.

i'm also having this problem - i think it is a wondows 8.1 fault...

Try updating your USB drivers. Also try another keyboard.
That will tell you if it is Windows.
