i need help choosing a graphic card

Hey guys

im trying to build a gaming pc with a price range around 1000 euro. the problem is i cant come up with a good graphic card because the R9 radeon are having cooling problems? and Gtx are expensive compared to R9 with the cooling problems so can you guys give me any advice ?
And this is what i have come up so far. the thing that i am missing is a cpu cooler and a graphic card

MB: ASUS Z87-A
Ram: Corsair Vengeance
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K / 3.4 GHz
PSU: Corsair RM Series RM750
HD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

What resolution? For 1080p, a single GTX 770 will fly. Its similar in terms of performance to R9 280X.

750W PSU is a bit of an odd choice as it's too much for any single graphics card, and if you are trying to cover future SLI/Xfire, the high end cards you are presumably suggesting will require a larger PSU to cover two of them.

Without a country you are buying in, and how much you have left over, it's a little hard to know how much you have to spend.

i see if i go with a gtx 770 for a 1080p resolution how much psu is minimum required ? and im from belgium i can spend around 300 euros for a graphic card

I believe 600W - o for an XFX or Seasonic 650W - for one card it will give you a little extra headroom.

You can run two GTX770s on a 750W, same with two R9 280X, though that's about as much as I'd want to run on that wattage. If you don't want to bother with having this facility, then stick with 550-620W PSUs as they have more than enough juice. It's kinda unlikely that you'll need to double up on graphics given how well these cards perform at 1080P.

Your earlier comments about R9 cards having cooling problems implied you were looking more towards the R9 290 or R9 290X (ie, the cards that have had cooling issues). The R9 280X is an entirely different product (roughly speaking, a HD7970 with a few tweaks) and runs at more conventional temperatures. In one form or another, the Hawaii chip inside the 280X has been a popular high end solution for over 2years now, it's a tried and tested solution and you should have no issues if you want to consider this instead of a GTX770.

As for how they stack up, there's not a lot between them. The MSI Gaming or Gigabyte Windforce versions of both are very popular and great performers, but there's a load of coolers/manufacuters to chose from.
In the states the GTX770 is significantly cheaper, across in most of Europe the 280X tends to be. Whichever is cheaper is a pretty good solution.

ah thx man i changed it to a Seasonic G-650
is it possible to play high end games with this graphic card: Palit GeForce GTX 770 JetStream ?
