Either I buy a used i5 4690k for 180usd and buy This mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130779

OR

I buy a used I5 4690s for 155Usd and buy this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130731

Keep in mind i will be using my R9 fury, and other parts from this PC

whats is the better choice? 4690k with a cheap z97
or the 4690s and a cheaper Mobo

I cant decide on which one to get, im leaning more to the 4690k setup and slapping a small OC on it

But would the 4690s be good enough for my r9 fury? if so i might go the cheaper route

If you only intend to game with this computer and don't plan on any CPU intensive tasks (like video editing, content creation, transcoding) then I would stick with the non-K CPU. Unless you enjoy the challenge of overclocking and tinkering, an overclock will rarely improve game performance significantly.

One suggestion, if you go with a non-K CPU, I would consider stepping up the motherboard to a H97 board rather than a H81. More features and typically better quality (and higher price tag too). H81 boards tend to be too budget.

I don't think you'll bottleneck the Fury with a non-K 4690.
