I need help finding a laptop :P

Okay so i suck with laptops and i need one for ~$400 the main uses are going to be browser and low quality games(like imvu) BUT i want it to be able to do more if i need it too(such as photoshop,blender,ect). I'm thinking an i5 would be good but i really dont know as i said.(i know desktops really well but laptops just lose me).

Are you sure a 1.7 duel core can run photoshop and blender?

Vouch for vlxedits. His laptop is a good starting point. Just make sure that the video card can play the games you like. There are only two components that can be upgraded on a laptop which is ram and the hard drive. If your video card is lacking then you won't be able to upgrade it.

Eh.. cant really expect to find a laptop that can handle complex tasks like that under $400. Would recommend raising your budget.

At that low price it will be hard to find a laptop that can run those programs. The acer aspire e series is the best that I can think of. It should run those program ok as long as you are not doing anything complex. I would raise the budget if you want an i5 though. My best suggestion is to look for amd apu's as they are better for lower end laptops that need more gpu power.
