So i have in my pc 2x2gb ddr2 400mhz each and i want to put in 2 one gb rams each 1066 mhz will it work?

no idea because you never told us the specifications of your PC, Make, Model, CPU, GPU, PSU, RAM, etc..

assuming this is all DDR2, it will work, but it will slow all the ram down to that 400 speed.

Its not a good idea.

the 1066 sounds more like DDR3, which wouldn't be compatible
