Hello..
I want to build a x99 for gaming PC..
i7 5820k..
asus x99 deluxe..
corsair vengeance LPX 2666 16 GB..
Full tower case(corsair obsidian 750D or graphite 760T,didnot deside yet)..
SSD Samsung 840 250 GB..
WD black 4 TB..
Asus combo optical drive..

My questions are these :
1.what is the best cpu liquid cooler(i did reseach but couldnot reach a desicion about what to use which is execllent).

2.I need advice about power supply..i want corsair 850w but they have so many type(CM.RM.AX)what is the best.

3.I want the best and future proofing(at least 2 years)..so i going with GTX980 and Asus swift rog..
but i did reseach and found that there is a problem of display port 1.2 between gtx980 and asus pg278q swift rog monitor(people experiecing boot failur and some beep at startup)some say is manifacuring problem some say drive problem..

I donot want to buy them and end up having black screen or these errors that i read about between gtx 980 and asus swift rog monitor..
I donot want 4K..1440 is more than enough for me..i want to play games at ultra setting..so i need advice about the best graphic card and monitor to do that..
is reallt there is manifacturing error in gtx 980 with the DP 1.2?
Help me please to chose and decide about these components.

Thank you.

1. Do you mean the best AIO? Because the best liquid cooling is open loop. The best AIOs out now (in order) are the H220x and H240x from Swifttech, the 280L from Coolermaster, the X60 and X61 from NZXT and the H105 and H110 from Corsair. Raijintek just came out with the Triton which is getting good reviews also.

2. The best 850 watt PSU on the market is EVGA. JonnyGuru is the only place to look at PSU reviews and it got a 9.9 out of 10, highest score ever.

3. Tom's has a good monitor section look at that for guidance. I have no problems with my ASUS 980.
1. No idea with liquid cooling, I only ever use air. I am quite paranoid of water running in my system.

2. The only Corsair PSU worth using are AX and HXi series, the others are quite bad:

I personally use Seasonic, solid units.

3. I use SLI 970's (both are MSI), no issues with the DP on that with Asus RoG Swift. I have no idea how DP causes a boot failure

Thank you chenw..
i was planning on buying asus swift rog and a single GTX 980 with it..
but i read alot of people having problems with this combo(you can check it out..google gtx 970 980 display port 1.2 black screen)..
so that why i hesitated about it..
i really could not come to an answer about this problem..is the problem the gtx 980 or the monitor swift rog??
