Okay so i just built my new computer today and i was so excited to finally get it working. Unfortunately when i press the Power Switch Bio's does not start up and also i hear no beeps.
Keep in mind everything else in the case eg Fans, Graphics Card fans, CPU Heatsink fan, HDD and CD drive switch on. So there must be power going through the board. The monitor keeps saying No video cable connected (something like that).
I've done the basics so taking out the battery in the board and resetting it. The computer is currently being looked at by my relative who's built computers before, so hopefully they will work it out, but i want to know if there is any silly thing i just cant find. Please help, much appreciated :)

Well i took the GPU out to see if that would work and it did not, also my Front panel case has a F_Audio wire so i guess i have a buzzer, unless thats for earphone jack.

And what wire are you going on about for my GPU i thought i just have to put it in the slot.
My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-DS2 M-ATX Motherboard
And GPU is XFX PCI Express HD7770 1GB Graphics Card

ok, first, the front panel audio is not the same as a post speaker. the post speaker plugs into a different area on the motherboard and can let you know of problems with how many beeps it makes.

something you could have tried would be to take out all your ram and put in one stick, try it, if it didn't work try the same stick in the next ram slot etc, until either you tried both sticks alone in each slot or it powers up.

Yeah, the post speaker has a slot on the mobo itself, its four pins near the bottom usually. Try and do an out of box startup, with only GPU, CPU, Motherboard, RAM, PSU, and screen. Make sure your VGA or HDMI cable is plugged into the GPU, and not the Motherboard itself
