I Need help on buying Ram?!

Before i go and buy ram i need to know what ram is compatible with the motherboard can someone list a 8gb ram thats compatible with my motherboard

My Motherboard is a: ASUS P5P43TD PRO

A simple Google search of the motherboard will take you the ASUS site which also has your compatible RAM brands and speeds.

When you say 8GB of RAM, do you mean a single RAM of 8GB or a combination? I am asking because your motherboard says that it can have up to 16GB of RAM with 4 x DIMMs so the max capacity per DIMM is 4GB.

go to the tab Memory/Device Support and then download the zip which has all the compatible RAMs for your motherboard.

will this be compatible with my motherboard?

ASUS does not have that particular kit as compatible but it has the same with 2GB module. The one from ebay might not have been tested by the time the list from ASUS was compiled.

I see no reason for that kit to not work, so I believe it would be fine. I would buy it if I were you.

My CPU is a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66Ghz and pretty sure its not OCed?

ill try and find different ones cause i dont want a used ram that hasent been tested
