I remove the CPU cooler, graphics card, HDD from the case. The case is in its original box with polystyrene padding ready to be moved.

Motherboard and CPU should be okay right?

Do I need to remove the PSU too? Can vibration and shock cause damage to a PSU?

I would remove the PSU if it moves about even when screwed in.
As long your motherboard is screwed in then it should be ok.
Be wary of things that may bump around in the case, I would remove them from the case and put them in the a box like the motherboard box etc...
if you want to be safe, dismantle the motherboard and put it back in to its box.

as long as you pack it correctly there shouldnt be an issue. but then again your relying on bagage handlers to show the box some respect and many dont.
if your gonna dismantle the pc you may as well go the whole hog and put all the parts in there respective boxes and ship them all together as separates.

It's good that you removed those. I recommend getting foam to put in the inside of the case to stabilize everything. Also find a large fragile stick to put on the outside of your bag/box.

How to pack correctly? I put the case in its original box with polystyrene padding. Is that not enough?

I want to leave the PSU and motherboard in the case as I have very limited space.
