So to give a brief background on this I will just say that my computer was acting up. I decided to do a factory reset. The factory reset failed. A blue troubleshoot menu opened up and i chose to do a reset again. The same "There was a problem while resetting your PC." Message showed up so I decided I would just turn on my PC to see if it was working. When I turned it on it booted up but it didn't show the windows bootup logo. It is just a completely black screen. I do have a USB for windows 10 and I am planning on just reinstalling windows. But the hard drive still has stuff on it (That I do not care about) and I want to know do I just install windows on the the computer or do I have to wipe the hard drive some how. I am not a PC expert but I do know the a fair amount about using them. I don't know if it matter but I am using an MSI motherboard.

Below is a video on what happens when I try to boot up my computer.

Change the flash drive to the bootdisk in the bios, save settings. Boot from it. Is Windows 10 on the flash drive tho??

Hopefully you have a key to activate it after. If you get to setup delete whats there, and create partitions if you want some.

Then reinstall windows. But whatever is on it now, will be gone

Wait so this would help if I have the Flash Drive right? Because I am using the flash drive. (Sorry I am not that advanced with computers.)

I originally had Windows 8.1 but then I downloaded the ISO from the website.

yeah, when you start w10 setup, format the partition before you choose on which you want to install it
you have to boot the flash drive from bios or set USB as first booting device(if you do this then change it on first restart or it will boot again)

You have to use something like rufus to extract whats in the ISO to the flash drive. If you didnt do this.

The ISO itself isnt bootable

You don't copy the ISO itself to the flash drive, it wont boot

But I do have the USB for windows 10 I just used the ISO on the website for this PC. I have the USB for another computer. So can't I just use the original method since I had bought the windows 10 USB installation? As of now I have no access to a computer other than my mac and I do not really know how to use a mac that well. And that computer as it shows int he video I attached is COMPLETELY black screen besides the initial booting. And the only thing I can access is the BIOS.

I am now realizing how confusing I am being. I installed the ISO on this computer. But I have a USB from another project I was doing.

Anyway Thank you for your help, I probably would have broken something without it!
