Question I need help updating my motherboard's BIOS ?

I am very new to this and I need help updating my BIOS which is like a year old.
I don’t know what usb spot to plug it in to for updating it.

I don't believe you need to use a specific USB port to perform the update.

If the manual doesn't say which port to use, you can use any. I would try the ones on the motherboard, not the PC case though.

What GPU are you using? BIOS updates may help with GPU issues, or not.

A BIOS update with likely have no impact on a wi-fi issue. That could be a number of things (hardware, drivers, signal strength, channel congestion, etc).

Okay, then follow the directions from earlier and update your BIOS. That may or may not solve your issues.

It's highly unlikely the BIOS update will solve your issues as described unless they are listed in the patch notes, but that's in the script for any frontline support (for still a good reason).

Well, for us to make suggestions on your problems, you would need to describe them, in detail, so we can understand the situation.

In addition, we need a complete listing of all installed components (make/model of each). Details matter.

Assuming this is a CyberPower system, they are notorious for quality issues, especially with power supplies.

It has a GeForce 1650 with ryzen 3 4100 being having a problem with FPS and keeping stuttering then Wi-Fi keeps on disconnecting but my 43 c i have 176 fps then randomly drops down to 89 fps

What are your CPU and GPU operating temperatures at idle and under load?

Are you overclocking anything (CPU, GPU, memory)?

Are you connected to a 2.4 or 5 Ghz wireless network?

Are your devices drivers and Windows fully updated?

Do you update the motherboard BIOS as previously discussed?

I don’t know how to overclock anything but nvidia and cyberpower both of them say to bios update it so I am going to listen to professionals

Updating the BIOS is not likely to solve your issues, regardless of what the "professionals" said.

Most of the folks helping you so far are professionals, who volunteer to help others. Just something to be aware of.

Help desk support will often tell you to update the BIOS to get you out of their hair.

Let us know how things are after your update.

Okay wil because other them even asrock said to then lead me to cyberpower pc to ask my montherboard

And I try the nvidia controls panel that didn’t work at all it make it worse a higher up form nvidia tells me to used vertical sync off and power on maximum performance but it everything worse

Step 1. Please extract the zip file after downloading the BIOS rom file from ASRock website.
Step 2. Save the BIOS files on a FAT32 formatted USB disk.
Step 3. Press [F2] during POST to get into BIOS setup menu.
Step 4. Select the Instant Flash utility under [Tool] menu to execute it.
