I have 6 coolermaster 120mf r4 RGB fans that I'd like to connect to my motherboard via the RGB header. The problem is that I have two 3x fan hubs from the two sets of 3 fans I've bought. Can I use a y splitter to plug the fan hubs into the single non adressable rgb of my b550m Pro4 mb?

That board has 2 x 5050 rgb headers, one splitter in each.

Oh... I'm actually dumb. I had read it wrong on the mb spec site and haven't bothered to check. So there's 2x RGB and 2x argb headers. Cool! Now a second question. Could I have bought 2x 3 way splitter and hook it up that way? Are there any benefits to having 2x 3-way hubs?
