Question i need help with my gpu's pci-e connector when i go to power it

I bought an evga geforce gtx 1060 6gb sc single fan gpu which requires a 6pin pci-e connection. So, I was wondering could I just use one of the 6 pin connectors to power the card or no? I recently used a gtx 970 which required the 6x6 connector but yeah I'm sure by now you understand my question so I wont go much further in explaining my issue my psu is a cs650h psu I think

Obviously, you only need to use one 6-pin connector if it only has 1 x 6-pin header. Where would you put the 2nd 6-pin?

@clutchc i wanted to make sure seeing as ive never really built a pc before im still pretty new and am still a bit scared about doing it thank you for the confirmation i figured it was that simple
