Question I need help!!!

I got a new ssd but when I tried to install it I couldn’t fit it into sata 2 cus of my case so I put it in sata 3 and it shows up in task manager but I can’t use it and I can’t see it in local drives in files pls help I’m out of storage and I need this sad to download stuff

I can’t connect to sata 2 cus the end of my sata cable is chapped like an L and it won’t fit cus my mobo is to close to the case so there’s not enough room

Listing the exact components involved here and links to pictures of these problems would be very helpful. As would a detailed description of the series of events. From what you've said, I have no idea what you have or even an inkling of whether it's a problem of components or user error.

Yup, you gotta format and set drive letter!

Yes that makes sense as the SSD are usually compatible with either connector, even the cables are technically identical.
