That's a decent little budget machine you got there, nothing I'd really change (which is rare 😉)

It will all fit just fine in that case. The 210 takes a 160mm tall CPU cooler and the EVO is 159mm. And good call on the low-profile memory, will make the EVO fit even easier.

Cheers

Thanks man! This will be my first build and im really excited. I know a little about computers but was wondering how hard is it really to build this? Are the steps easy to find online and such?

Not that hard at all. Trickiest thing will be mounting your 212 EVO, but take your time and you'll get it. There are probably about a billion "how to build a pc" videos on YouTube, but I'd recommend watching a build guide from LinusTechTips or another reputable source that will teach as they build.

Ok sweet. One more question. Would this tower case work with the setup?
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/thermaltake-case-vn400a1w2n I love the window it has and its actually cheaper cause the other case uses Prime which i don't have. Thanks!

Ok yeah thats what i thought just figured id ask. And for the memory whats the difference getting
A-Data XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 versus one 8g stick of ram? Arent they usually around the same price or no? That way i could get another stick in the future if i wanted to.

Would the one really just crap the bucket though? I plan on using it for 2-3 years before upgrading at all.

I mean how long could this setup last running games at max settings? I know its probably kinda hard to tell but if you had to guess what would you think?

Oh ok thats do able then. Im honestly mainly using this to play Wow, GW2, DayZ, and ESO. No BF, GTA or any game like that. Thats what my PS4 is for.

It's impossible and a little ridiculous to give a life expectancy to a PSU, come on now. I've used CX units in several builds that have yet to have a single issue. I'm not saying that they're not budget units (clearly they are), but you can't put a lifespan on something without some well-researched data to point to. OP may very well get many, many years on that power supply.

Yes thats true. And there might even be an Logisys unit out there that will last too but that isn't the way to bet. I never recommend buying the cheaper units. People are willing to pay $500-$2000 to build their rigs but are unwilling to pay the extra $20-$45 to get a quality psu. Just never makes any sense to me.

I would recommend getting the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 (non-LE version)

The ASUS M5A97 R2.0 LE doesn't have a VRM heatsink & it lacks a USB 3.0 header. The LE only has a 4pin power socket for cpu power, while the non-LE has all these things and an 8pin power socket for a CPU. SPDIF sound is provided as a motherboard header instead of a back-panel connector, and it has 3 audio jacks rather than 6 (same sound codec though).

It's worth the extra $20

Edit: I just noticed your case doesn't have front-facing USB 3.0, so I guess that bit doesn't apply to your build :V

Ah gotcha, couldn't tell when it stopped being about how that power supply would last to how long the whole rig would last, my bad.

We're definitely on the same page about not skimping on PSU though. I just tend to think CX, while being budget, are pretty decent units from my experience.

Cheers

I wouldn't pair 4GB of memory with a GTX 770...and you didn't include a power supply. OPs build is more balanced.
