i need Motherboard advice

I have a Asus Essentio Series computer with the CG1330-07 motherboard. What mother board can i put in wit a am3+ Socket, i would like to put a 8 core processor in it.

i have 12gb of DDR3 memory, a 4 gb video card, and a 700 watt power supply

With limited information, we won't be able to help you. Each motherboard has it's own separate specifications on what it can handle. So basically, you have to find a motherboard that supports DDR3 memory and AMD3+, which should be simple enough. You can go onto newegg.com and sort by these types of things and it will show you what is compatible and what isn't.

I would however, recommend an Intel-based system instead, since the AMD processors are pretty much only worth it if you are on a very restricted budget.

This i5 will perform better in games and is more efficient than the 8-core 8350. The AMD is only more powerful in video editing and rendering.
