Hey everyone,
I had my sights on the Corsair iCUE H150i ELite Capellix. I love the way it looks... RGB's and all. Seems to come with a pretty awesome control panel. Only it's pretty hard to find. Which is making me wonder why isn't everyone selling it if it's all that great?

What do you think is comparable or better?

ASRock B650 PG LIGHTNING ATX AM5 Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
Corsair iCUE 5000D RGB AIRFLOW ATX Mid Tower case

Thank you!

It doesn't sell great because price is twice that of comparable AIOs. It's not even as fancy as some other ones for comparable price. All other manufacturers also have (A)RGB models while lighting can be controlled with SW supplied by MB manufacturer or 3rd party programs. That one is plain RGB and ARGB gives much better lights because all LEDs have all 3 colors in one LED, RGB has 3, each for one color. ARGB has more hues and each LED can be controlled separately, so much better experience. Your MB has ARGB prts so it would be pity not to use them.
Take a look at some of best performance coolers.

Having had an Corsair and Arctic AIO in the last 4 years... neither is perfect lol. Both died within 2 years... maybe they hate me.

Corsair lock you into their eco system when you buy their stuff, Icue can be a pain. Enough to not want Corsair in next PC... but they make good ram.
Their fans look pretty but they aren't the best at cooling, its more looks. And they charge you for it.

Arctic is at opposite end and you can buy them cheap. I had problems with their fans being noisy... enough I replaced the fans, but pump died soon after.

I don't know who makes best AIO... I clearly never found them :)

could be one of these

Looks count.
Buy what appeals to you.

But, looks can get old in time.

You have a very nice case that is well suited to air cooling.
Cooling with a good twin tower air cooler can be perfectly fine.
Air may be cheaper, more reliable, quieter and last much longer.

I can see reason to look at Corsair AIO when case also uses Icue and has 4 RGB fans already. Making aio fans match up that aren't made by Corsair would be fun.

Airflow cases are useful for both AIr and water, as they both need fresh cool air to work. I get your point and had same reaction when I watched videos of the Antec Flux Pro that comes with 4 intakes and every video put a rad in them.

So it seems Icue can only really control RGB fans
As their one ARGB AIO doesn't have any software control and runs off motherboard

Air is cheaper if it doesn't also include changing your ram to make it fit under the front fan on the cooler.

No wonder you don't know who makes best AIOt, lol. It keeps on changing all the time and between reviewers and how much they are payed.
Most AIOs use same pumps made by Asetek just in different housings. Warranty is between 5-6years. Radiators are also made by just few manufacturers and everybody shares them too.
Since there was proliferation of AIO manufacturers and they became affordable. most place emphasis on looks and other for cooling unimportant doohickeys. That's what you are paying extra for.

I mainly looked at GN, I don't think they are biased towards anyone and their history shows they drop sponsors who play games. I look at every review I can find for everything I buy, that way I figure I might get the truth.
I knew Arctic had a good name but mainly for being good value.
Price can be a factor but if you buy too cheap, it might break faster than the more expensive ones.
I had wanted the Liquid Freezer ii before I bought it, I was sad when it stopped a few weeks ago.

My first AIO was Cooler Master Nepton 140XL, it lasted over 5 years starting on FX 8350 to Ryzen 2700x. and is possibly still running when sold together with 2600x. Later on I switched to Arctic, first LF II 240 and then to LF II and LFIII 360. Haven't had them for more than 2 years because that was interval of upgrading my CPUs. I haven't heard any complaints from those I sold them to.

i may have killed mine because I swapped my fans for 3 lian li ones and a few months later pump died, so it might not have been getting the signal as well as it should. It was attached to CPU fan header from memory in the last few months.
