Hello, i just upgraded/changed my rig:

CPU: ryzen 7 2700x (Stock Cooler)
Mobo: x470 gaming plus
GPU: RTX 2060 S Gigabyte
16 GB RAM DDR 4 3200MHz cl 15 - single channel, still waiting for the second piece of ram to come
PSU: Segotep 600w
SSD: 480gb Kingston a400

I have the following questions/problems:

  1. My monitor has just DVI and HDMI port, how can i plug to my pc to achieve the 144hz ? A 2.0HDMI to DVI-D should word ?
  2. What bios update/version you advice me to have ? I heard that the updates post Ryzen 3000 are not so good for 2nd gen ryzen
  3. In AMD RYZEN MASTER sometimes my EDC goes pretty high 95-100%, should i worry ?
  4. My RAM frequency was set from bios to 2400 and i chosed a xmp profile (profile 2) that set my ram to 3200, should've i set to profile 1, which was for 3000MHz ?
  5. I am using an HDMI cable (maybe this is the problem) and the pc seems laggy... i mean in games it's not that great, my old rig had : i5 6500k and gtx 970 OC and the experience in video games was more smoothly.
Thanks in advance ;), maybe after i will have my other piece of ram it will solve some of the issues.

1| That will depend on your monitor and how it wants input for 144Hz.
2| You should be on the latest BIOS version that is currently on the board maker's support site. Is that an MSI board?
4| You're good with 3200MHz.
5| That doesn't narrow down an issue.

Are you on the latest version of Windows 10? Run the number by us just to be sure.

Thanks for reply :D, my Windows version :
Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363. I'll upgrade my bios tomorrow.
Regarding my monitor: i have a Benq XL2411Z and i tried with a Displayport to DVI-D adapter and i have just 1920x1080*60hz. I'll grab a new monitor this christmas maybe, because i miss 144hz.
